hmm…well first i’d suggest that you download my fitness pal. ignore the target calories that the app will suggest & go by the macros that you have already determined. it’s nice because you can have a pie chart to show you the percentages of what you’ve eaten. it’ll allow you to put in specific brands of things to get the most accurate numbers too. from there you’ll have to do some trial & error until you can hit your macros correctly. 

i’d suggest chicken, fish, eggs, and shrimp for your proteins. greek yogurt is good too. those are my favorites. i also like to throw protein shakes in there because they’re easy to grab on the go.

sweet potatoes, oats, quinoa, and brown rice for your carbs.

peanut butter or almonds for fats

& lots of fruits and veggies to fill any voids. 

sorry i don’t have a better answer. i had a lot of trouble hitting my macros on my own, just because i didn’t feel like putting my meals into mfp the night before & planning out what i would eat. i kinda just winged it as i went through the day. if you plan ahead of time though, you can definitely doit.

Doubting, TMI, Feelings and yet another cold

I’m always super emotional whenever I’m sick and (TMI) about to go on my cycle. I feel like I’m a thousand pounds & there’s no way that I can be ready in 7 weeks. I’ve been sick for the majority of my prep & it’s really taking a toll on me. I can barely make it through my workout cuz I have to keep stopping to go spit out mucus. & I’m looking at this whale in the mirror & it’s fucking with my head. This process will definitely pick out every single insecurity that you have and magnify it. I know that it’ll be worth it in the end though. I had my first posing session with my coach this week & it was so much fun. I loved it, but I’m not necessarily loving the prep. It’s not horrible. I’m not doing hours of cardio or restricting calories like crazy, but I’m just so tired from being sick & I don’t have time to just lay in bed & try to get better. At this point I still want to compete in more than one show, but I want my prep to be longer than 12 weeks. Life doesn’t stop just because you’re in prep & I thing a longer time would make me feel more comfortable with dealing with outside forces.
